DIGITALAX is launching ESPA— the first ever dedicated Esports platform for Indie devs, Modders and Every Player.

We are introducing for the first time ever, “Casual Esports”.

ESPA is the core use case and token platform implementation architecture for DIGITALAX’s native ERC-20 utility token, $MONA. The whitepaper token economics introduced the concept of “Casual Play” into DIGITALAX, and the importance of $MONA when it comes to serving to further incentivise utility and application in the Player-Creator economy.

With a focus on the Player-Creator economy, our protocol architecture emphasises sustainable and consistent value generation for all participants and brings about new business models and opportunities to make a living, through play.

ESPA sets forth a triad interdependence between Developers, Players and Designers.

  • Digital Fashion designers are able to list their items on the DIGITALAX marketplace to be purchased by the Players and then taken in-game under that Player’s game tag.
  • Indie developers and modders showcase their content on ESPA for competitive play.
  • Players use the Digital Fashion as their identity markers and authentication tool for participation in the ESPA ecosystem where they can play to win. Players must own a compatible digital fashion item from the marketplace in order to be eligible to compete and earn $MONA.
  • The profits from the sales from the DIGITALAX Marketplace are split between the Designers, Developers, Winning Players, Holders and Treasury.
  • The $MONA token holders and Genesis MONA Holders govern and decide on the % split distribution of marketplace sales/profits between the Designers, Developers, Players, Holders and Treasury.
  • Players, Designers, Developers are directly incentivised to hold $MONA in this ecosystem, where all 3 are able to earn a living, income streams through Play.
  • $MONA is distributed out to winning Players. Indie developers and modders receive $MONA for the digital fashion items that are sold on the marketplace and taken in game by players. Designers receive value in $MONA for their listed items.
  • $MONA is the official token for the Player-Creator economy— an incentivised and sustainable ecosystem for play.

We are going LIVE with the first BETA Launch of ESPA at the end of this month/Early March 2021.

We are partnering with Modders in the community to run our first game tournament, where winning Players and the modders/devs receive $MONA.

There will be in-game compatible digital fashion items listed on the DIGITALAX marketplace. These are being designed by a well-known NY/London based Fashion Designer, partnered with a talented graphic skin modder.

This is the first implementation for $MONA and is set to spark a revolution across Esports, Gaming, Digital Fashion. Imagine being able to plug in anytime, choose your content and start earning value, earning a livelihood and income stream.

Imagine being able to have a solidified platform for showcasing your content, without having to negotiate the usual industry-political barriers.

We are democratising access across gaming, Esports and driving direct value for designers through incentivised application of digital fashion.

After the first BETA, ESPA will continue to bring on more indie, modded and studio content across gaming and VR. We are building out an application platform so that any content can plug in and match with our global leaderboard, authentication system and $MONA payouts.

We are starting iterative and scaling up as we go, where we will be transferring parts of our global system onto the Ethereum blockchain for verification and immutability so that all Designers, Developers and Players can engage in a transparent ecosystem that generates a full life cycle of value for all participants.

Eventually, Players and Designers will also use ESPA as mechanism to engage in the first digital fashion in-game sponsorships, bringing about completely new business models in this digital ecosystem. This is the future of play.

We have started our ESPA Specific Community— Players, Developers, Designers. Join the ESPA Discord to stay up to date.

To keep things clean, we will be keeping most of our ESPA communication, announcement and updates under the official social channels listed below.
