We often hear the saying — community is one of, if not the, most important aspects to successfully growing and cultivating a web3/crypto community. However, how many of us really see community with a capital C?
Even during some of the most bustling web2 emerging tech periods, it’s been a long hard road to get to the point where Community is respected in parts of the core startup and VC culture. For many, it feels like it is too intrinsic, too intangible, too “fluffy”. Yet, anyone with the data and experience knows its the complete opposite. And that’s what we are starting to see more of in web3 today, developers and engineers dedicated to designing and creating community tools, because they know that actually this is the fastest way to grow value and capital, along with a loyal tribe of customers, users, collaboraters, creators and people that will fight for you as if they were fighting on their on behalf — because often they are.
So, for that, this series of Web3 Wizards is devoted to spotlighting some of the core community driven devs in the ecosystem — those that are creating, refining and building for the communities that many of us are intrinsically apart of today. We thank these Community Catalysts as they capitalise that C… in more ways than one.
